At the Thrifty Mom’s DIY, we’re all about showing you how to do some very fun and creative projects around the house. We’ve done so many projects over the years that we’ve seen it all. From mistakes to perfect results, we want to share with you the tips and tricks we’ve learned along the way. We’re not professionals (we’ll the hubby has been a concrete Superintendent for 15+ years) but other than that, we’re not professional builders, wood workers, carpenters, etc. I work in marketing, so nothing handy there. We’re just normal every day people who want to have nice things but at a cost that is family friendly.
We’re going to show you how to build a headboard out of wood pallets, how to create custom lighting for your deck or porch, how to build a custom planter out of wood pallets (you’ll come to find out, I’m sort of obsessed with wood pallets), how to update your cabinets with nothing but paint, and even how to lay grass sod or plant seed.
